10G Powered Storage

ZyXEL has partnered with QNAP, a leading commercial Network Attached Storage (NAS) provider, to create two affordable, high performance 10G Ethernet powered NAS solution packs for small to mid-size companies (SMB). The solution packs include ZyXEL’s XGS1900 series Web-managed smart 10G Ethernet switches and QNAPs TS-870U-RP NAS appliance.

ZyXEL 1900 Series 10G Switches

The 1900 series include 24 and 48 port 10G Web smart switches (XGS1910-24/48). The XGS1910-24 (48) switch comes with 2 (4) enhanced small form-factor SFP+ ports for 10G uplinks and / or stacking. This cost-saving feature eliminates the need for additional modules for 10G support. Some of the main features include outstanding performance and efficiency in network traffic management, Quality of Service (QoS) and a variety of VLAN features such as MAC (Media Access Control), protocol-based VLAN and guest VLAN.

QNAP NAS Solutions

TS-870U-RP / TS-1270U-RP
The TS-x70 series include the 12-bay TS-1270U-RP and the 8-bay TS-870U-RP aim to offer business users a superb high-performance yet budget-friendly 10 GbE NAS solution. Powered by a high performance Dual-core Intel® 2.4GHz processor, the new TS-x70 series are equipped with 4GB DDR3 RAM, which can be upgraded to 16GB optionally. These models can store up to a maximum of 48 TB or 32 TB of storage to fulfill various business applications including high speed backup, server virtualization, iSCSI IP-SAN, video storage and centralized shared storage.
